Jamarhl soon became an unofficial mentor to our son and in the years that have followed we have come to know Jamarhl as someone who “walks the walk.” From things as basic as reporting on the number of shootings since the Boston marathon, and Fill the Fridge, Feed the Hood; to bringing the Last Poets to perform in Dudley, Jamarhl has been a force that gets things done in Roxbury/Dorchester. Even when we have engaged in conversations where we differ in our points of view, Jamarhl has been able to make room for the difference while finding a way to move together on common ground.”
