Stand Your Ground Law

In March 2012, I worked with a broad coalition to beat back the proposed “Stand Your Ground Law” in Massachusetts based on the Castle Doctrine in Florida.  The proposed legislation was very similar to the law that was referenced in the case of  the tragic murder of Trayvon Martin.
