“Our relationship with Jamarhl Crawford is a special one indeed. We had the fortune of being introduced to him following an article that was published by the Boston Globe regarding a proposal we created for Dudley Square. Intrigued by our design, Jamarhl then contacted us to help bring to fruition a community space he had envisioned for some time – that of revitalizing the northern edge of Franklin Park. . . .

Jamarhl had an idea to revitalize the old Bear Dens of Franklin Park into a space for outdoor performance and recreation. Building on the legacy of the late Elma Lewis, this would become known as the Elma Lewis Amphitheatre. While designs are still underway, the intent of this space would be a permanent home for activities such a Jazz in the Park and provide the neighborhood with a place for community events. . . .

We were happy to service Jamarhl in this effort and help bring to reality a vision that was truly his own. This was simply of many that Mr. Crawford has for his community, a community that he has been actively engaged in his entire life. We give Jamarhl our highest level of support and endorse him fully in his campaign for District 7 Boston City Council.” . . .
