CRAWFORD OPENS UNCONVENTIONAL HQ IN ROXBURY
Campaign Office dubbed “Hood Hub HQ” in Trailer in Grove Hall

(Boston, MA) – Jamarhl Crawford, current candidate for District 7 Boston City Council on Monday opened a very unconventional campaign office in Grove Hall. Decorated in campaign ads and national flags of local residents from the district on one of the busiest and most traveled areas in District 7 the office stands out and has been well received by residents. The office is in fact a 8ft x 16ft trailer of the type commonly used on construction sites housed on the empty lot on Warren st. next to the Grove Hall Post Office cornered by Crawford St.

“This is the same site as the controversial ‘For The Community By The Community Candidates of Color forum’ and is a part of my community that I often travel through and am very familiar with. The owner of the lot is a friend and local business owner of Roxbury Rotisserie. I have repeatedly said ‘I’m Different’ and this is another example of the out of the box grass roots type thinking that can be utilized as a tool to organize our communities.”

The Crawford campaign
is currently setting up office hours and gearing up for a second wave of field outreach following the distribution of almost 10,000 campaign newspapers. Crawford has already picked up major support and endorsements from Mel King, Doris Bunte, Min. Don Muhammad, Sen. Bill Owens, Pastor Bruce Wall, Bishop Felipe Texeira, Larry Ellison and other prominent community figures representing a broad base of support.
